A sample one-day itinerary along the coast of Rio de Janeiro , including the Cagarras Islands and Itaipu Beach is described below:

We may start our cruise in the Guanabara Bay, with sightseeing of the Botafogo and Flamengo Beaches, Ilha Fiscal, the Rio-Niteroi Bridge, and the Museum of Contemporary Art. We proceed the tour watching the Historical Forts along the entrance of the Ba and the Sugar Loaf viewed by the sea. Leaving the bay, we wil have an overview of Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, and stop by the Cagarras Islands for swimming or either for some fun snorkeling, nature observation and sightseeing of the magnificent landscape of Rio de Janeiro viewed by this archipelago. Next, we may depart cruising to the Niterói shore, passing by the Rasa and Redonda Islands, Piratininga and Camboinhas beaches, reaching the Pai and Mãe Islands, and stop at Itaipu, a nice and soothing beach.
